That’s all for today, goodbye!

Barcelona’s unbeaten start to the season comes to an end with that defeat and Koeman will be hoping they can bounce back quickly as their attention now turns to the Champions League when they face Ferencvaros on Tuesday. As for Getafe, they move into second in the table and look forward to their next match against Granada.

Mata’s penalty seals a 1-0 for Getafe over Barcelona. Neither side had many chances in the first half, but Messi came closest to breaking the deadlock when he hit the post. Then, in the 56th minute, De Jong gave away a penalty after fouling Dakonam and Mata confidently converted from the spot. Hernandez came close to adding a second but was denied by Neto when he pushed it onto the bar with his fingertips.

90′ + 7′ Dest is booked after he steps across Mollejo to try and stop his run.

90′ + 4′ CLOSE! Getafe don’t clear their lines and Pique manages to nick the ball off Cucurella and touch it onto Messi on the edge of the box. He dribbles past two defenders before firing a shot on goal, but it’s just wide of the far post.

90′ + 3′ Olivera is shown a yellow card for time-wasting.

89′ Getafe are making a change and it’s Timor coming on for Hernandez.

89′ WHAT A MISS! Hernandez gets the ball in his own half and makes a driving run into the box. The Barca defenders can’t get close to him and he’s one-on-one with Neto, but he blasts his shot high over the bar under no pressure.

87′ Final roll of the dice for Barcelona now and Puig is on in place of Roberto.

85′ Fati has two Getafe defenders closing him down with his back to goal so he touches the ball onto Dest who has a lot of space to run into on the left. He stops when the pass is played to him though and the home side come away with it.

83′ GREAT SAVE! Hernandez times his run perfectly to stay onside and get on the end of Mata’s pass. He gets goalside of Lenglet and fires his shot across goal from the left of the box. Neto gets fingertips to the shot to tip it onto the crossbar.

82′ Barcelona look like they’re running out of ideas on how to break down Getafe. Braithwaite makes a good run down the right, but his first touch lets him down and Olivera steps in to win it back.

M. Braithwaite

F. de Jong

80′ De Jong also makes way for Braithwaite.

80′ Another double change of the game for Barcelona now and Griezmann is being taken off for Trincao.

79′ GOOD SAVE! De Jong plays a great ball over the top to pick out Fati’s run and the substitute is one-on-one with the keeper. His first shot is stopped by Soria, but he can’t hold onto it and the offside flag goes up as Fati has another go.

77′ There are some shouts from the Barcelona players for a penalty as Fati has gone to ground under pressure from Suarez. There’s not much in it and the referee waves the claims away.

75′ All of Barcelona’s attacks at the moment are coming down the left side through Fati, but he hasn’t been able to pick out a team-mate with his cross into the box this time.

73′ Nyom caught Busquets with a late challenge and was shown a yellow card.

71′ Mata is coming off with the medical team and Unal is on to replace him.

66′ Coutinho chips the ball up to Fati on the left and he cuts inside, past Nyom to get into the box. He goes down and the Barcelona players are asking for a penalty as they think he was caught, but the referee points for a goal-kick.

64′ Fati wins a free-kick just outside the box on the left wing and Messi whips a cross into the middle of the box. Nobody picks up Pique’s run and he flicks his header towards goal but sends it sailing over the bar.

62′ Pedri is also coming off and he’s replaced by Coutinho.

62′ Double substitution from Barcelona now and Dembele is the first to make way for Fati.

60′ Lenglet almost plays himself into trouble inside his own box after getting the ball from De Jong. He’s facing his own goal and Mata is quickly closing him down, but he just manages to lay it off to Pique before the forward gets to it.

58′ Getafe are on the attack again following the goal and Cucurella gets into space down the left again. He whips a cross into the box and Arambarri jumps in the middle to try and reach it, but it sails over his head.

56′ MATA SCORES! It’s a confident run-up to the spot from Mata and he just stops before hitting the ball. Neto goes the wrong way and he slots the ball into the bottom-left corner of the net. 1-0 Getafe!

52′ Getafe are patiently playing out from the back as they try to push forward and find a way in behind Barcelona. They win a free-kick on the right, but Cucurella’s cross is a poor one and Barca come away with it.

50′ De Jong has stayed down after being caught in the face when he and Nyom both went to the ground and Bordalas isn’t happy about it on the sidelines. He was booked in the first half and the referee goes over to have a word with him.

48′ Dembele cuts inside from the left and drifts past four Getafe defenders as he tries to pick out a pass to a team-mate. He ends up overrunning it in the end though and Dakonam is able to clear his lines.

46′ Getafe get us back underway for the second half!

Getafe started the game brightly but struggled to cause Barcelona any real problems as the half went on. Bordalas will want to see more from them going forward after the break. As for Barca, they haven’t created too many clear cut chances and Koeman will expect better from them in the second half.

It’s goalless at the break between Getafe and Barcelona. The home side have had just one shot on target so far with Maksimovic seeing his effort punched away by Neto. Barcelona have had two good chances; first when Messi hit the post from the edge of the box and the second one was fired over by Griezmann.

44′ Getafe have a free-kick on the right wing and Cucurella is standing over it. He curls a cross into a dangerous area at the far post, but none of his team-mates have made the run so Neto is happy to see it out of play.

42′ Messi steps up to take the free-kick he won and he’s going for goal himself. He curls his effort up and over the wall, but it’s straight at Soria and the goalkeeper holds onto it.

Sergi Roberto

Yellow Card

41′ Roberto is shown a yellow card for dissent.

39′ Barcelona look a lot more comfortable in possession now and they’re keeping Getafe penned back in their own half. It’s patient build-up from Koeman’s side, but they’re struggling to find a way into the final third.

37′ Roberto sees Dembele with a lot of space to run into on the left and tries to switch play out to him. There’s too much on the pass though and he can’t catch it before it rolls out of play.

35′ Bordalas is making it clear to the referee that he is unhappy with what was happening between the players in the box during the taking of the free-kick and he’s been shown a yellow card.

22′ Nobody picks up Cucurella’s run as he cuts inside from the left and he goes for goal with a low shot towards the bottom-left corner. There’s no power on the shot though and Neto gets down to hold onto it.

20′ OFF THE POST! It’s the first time Barcelona have managed to get in behind Getafe as Pedri lays the ball off to Messi on the edge of the box. He takes the shot first time and Soria is beaten, but it bounces back off the near post.

18′ GOOD CHANCE! Once again, Barca give the ball away in midfield and Getafe counter-attack. Arambarri picks out Maksimovic’s run on the right of the box and he takes the shot first time, but it’s straight at Neto.

16′ Nyom keeps finding himself in a lot of space down the right and he makes another driving run down the wing. Dest tracks him all the way and nicks the ball back off him as Nyom goes to ground, but the referee sees nothing in it.

14′ Barcelona are struggling to get out of their own half at the moment as they keep sloppily giving the ball away. Pedri has a chance to counter when he gets the ball on the right, but he gifts it to Cucurella.

12′ Arambarri steps up to take a free-kick in midfield for Getafe and he floats a good cross into the far post. Cabaco gets on the end of it, but there’s not much he can do as it bounces off him and straight out of play.

10′ Nyom makes a good run down the right but he has Dest tracking him the whole way. He tries to turn the defender, who then catches him with a late challenge and Getafe have a free-kick in a good position, but it comes to nothing.

8′ Barcelona have won on their last four trips to Coliseum in LaLiga, scoring exactly two goals on each occasion, their best winning streak in a row there in the top-flight.

6′ Getafe are trying to catch Barcelona out with long balls over the top when they win the ball back and this time, Nyom tries to switch play out to Hernandez on the left. There’s not enough on it though and Lenglet makes the clearance.

4′ Mata has a lot of space to run into as Getafe counter-attack and he has Hernandez to his left. He tries to lay it off to him, but Pique gets an important touch to take it away from him and set Barcelona on another attack.

2′ Barcelona are seeing a lot of the ball early on and Messi makes a good run to the edge of the box. He lays it off to Griezmann who takes it on the turn, but the ball is nicked off him by Dakonam before he can have a shot.

1′ Griezmann gets the game underway for Barcelona!
